Eligibility Criteria
- MUST BE Jersey City resident
- Have overdue rent from March 2020 onward
- Have suffered a loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic
- Meet income guidelines
Required Documentation
- Most recent lease
- Copy of gas/ electric bill, water bill and/or oil bill
- Copy of 2019 income tax
- Proof of income of all household members 18 and over
- Statements for all savings, retirement, stock, rental income accounts
- Identification for all household members at the time of determination (e.g. driver’s license/ birth certificate/ passport/ social security card)
