We at PACO deeply sympathize with Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and other areas impacted by the devastating effects of Hurricane Fiona and Ian. Times like these remind us of the importance of community and being there to support our brothers and sisters in their time of need.
Both Hurricane Fiona and Ian brought catastrophic flooding and widespread power outages. Many residents of Puerto must live with the uncertainty of when electricity will be restored throughout the island. Many people have been displaced and others have loss access to clean water.
While aid has been provided, there are still many areas that face food or medical aid shortages and are still in need of our assistance. We have compiled a list of organizations that are currently working on the ground to provide aid to those negatively impacted by the hurricane. Please consider donating directly or sharing their info with friends and family or on social media.
Also, let’s not forget about our furry friends that need our help too!
